“Beauty is
in the eye of the one who is watching.” (Schönheit liegt im Auge des
Betrachters).
It's the attachment
and judgement that are the problem. We live in an age of individualistic
ignorance where everybody wants others to be just like them. And, by reacting
to what we dislike outside of ourselves, we are projecting something we have
yet to love and heal within ourselves. The return of the Goddess is about
turning within rather than doing what patriarchy has programmed us to which is
identify with the physical body and react to the outside world.
Beauty is not
always physical but, because we do not look within ourselves, we fail to see
our own beauty and therefore that of others. Therefore, endeavouring to control
and censor others is only masking the symptoms and not addressing the real
issue which is that we cannot even discuss these topics clearly until we
embrace our inner selves and look out with the eye of Spirit, the heart. Then
we love all and know that all is allowed because that's what love is and
therefore our true nature. And then too of course we know the beauty of the
everlasting joy and infinite love within us and let go of all issues pertaining
to these temporary vehicles that we have chosen to inhabit in order to grow.
I have Venus rising
so beauty, inner and outer, is a major thing for me. It is so because my higher
self wished to provide a carrot for me to return to the beauty within having
neglected the Light [or it was purposefully hidden from me] for too many
lifetimes. And I see that beauty is not always a major component in a person's
life path and a woman who might be concentrating on different lessons (most
likely relating to having had her masculine will stifled in other lives),
instead of accepting and appreciating this, may resent her body and its
attractiveness to others or simply fail to understand why this is important for
many women, accusing them of being sluts when, in fact, they are simply in the
Venus zone and expressing their natural charms. Because they are pretty flowers
rather than vigorous shrubs and that's OK because a garden needs to be varied
and each plant has its purpose. And, of course, in nature, each plant just gets
on and celebrates its own virtues and lives for the Sun. You don't see the
conifer turning to her neighbour criticising and gossiping about the dahlias in
the flower bed across the lawn! Or the gnarled thorny holly blocking the way
for gentle giants like foxgloves until they shake off their elegant flowers to
meet with their austere approval and Victorian values. But the truth is that
she chose that body has being the most appropriate for her journey and it is up
to her how she adorns it or not depending on her own preference. And the same
applies to everyone. Each to their own.
Burqas are a good
example of central power imposing its principles on the collective. Antiquated
patriarchal religions do that and it's insane! So when women talk about control
it is clear that they are representing patriarchal values whether they know it
or not. Evidence of so-called 'matriarchy' in our world often benefits the
patriarchal institutions more than anyone else. Therefore, that is what we need to dispense of, rebel against and prevent. We
are free to dress how we like and this may or may not change with age. We are
free to follow mainstream fashion or express ourselves creatively, or take
inspiration here and there to find our own style. We are free to be sexy and
seductive and curious and experimental and geeky and frumpy and wise and bland
and gaudy and shy and crazy and confident and powerful or victimised and
anxious, weak and strong, and to dress according to how we are feeling or what
we find appropriate in any given moment or rebel against all of this
completely! Just as we are free to discuss these topics and challenge the
consensus without fear of reprisal.
It is incorrect to
assume that all girls wear tight or revealing clothing in order to
attract men. Some feel more comfortable and confident in clothes that show off
their figures. They do not necessarily care what guys or other girls think of
them. This is not always out of a sense of insecurity or a means to find or
keep a lover.
It's a choice;
flaunt what you got if you want. This way you can also wear a burqa if you
want. If the fashion was a pc frumpy sack or trouser suit or state-controlled
strict burqa or jail choices would be much more limited and few women would
dare to be bold and express themselves in this way as they wish, just timidly
conform to the expectation of women who don't choose that option but want to
control and spoil things for others to make themselves feel better.
“It’s not about
seducing men, It’s about embracing womanhood.“ - Dita Von Teese.
I was accused of looking at this issue from an
obvious male point of view. The woman in question suggested that the more skin I
get to see the better. Nonsense,
I replied. I don't even like to see lots of flesh. I do like elegance though.
And in a sophisticated manner. That would be very convenient though, hey? If
all men could be painted with the same brush to justify returning to Victorian
values. Women attract because they are designed to and so of course they want
to use their charm and explore their sexual power
which they can feel at a young age when they are preparing to lure and capture
the right mate (potentially) and which they may then no longer require and are
likely to lose anyway at some point.
Although patriarchal, satanic Hollywood promotes certain things for which some people fall, we are lucky that we have freedom of choice. It is not compulsory to either be adventurous and risque or to dress more conservatively. We can all share our point of view calmly and intelligently and compete with the mainstream media but whether we do or don't it is the freedom of choice that is important. Once that goes, totalitarianism will reign supreme. And patriarchy can be a lot worse than this, as well we know!

Did you know that during some point in Atlantis (I think latter and corrupt time though) at least in one area the queen would be young and pretty and most young females went around quite naked. They had the power to do that. No one could molest them or anything. And that was their choice. To be free, to be natural, to be admired I guess.
Now we have been
preparing for patriarchy’s funeral for decades and yet the criminal cabal, who
have most of the money that belongs to humanity, have managed to keep propping
it up. They will not be able to keep up with the new economic system, however. Anything
that is polarised is destined to culminate and decline because it is at the
mercy of cyclic change unless aligned with eternity. One lady made a pertinent
comment: "If you don’t appreciate glamour and the art of adornment that is
your choice. Stop imposing your values on others. We don’t inflict our tastes
on you!" Indeed, we are responsible for dismantling the old order but the
young will create the new one so it is also our responsibility to get out of
their way.
“I don’t need feminism because as a group,
feminism has become skewed in the way of their actions and thoughts. If the
general definition of feminism was true, then I would identify as a feminist,
but sadly no. Feminists have pretty much lost track of their fighting cause.
Their fighting cause being equality, but now that is just lost in translation.
Feminism has become this group of angry people on the internet, not actually
fighting for a cause and belittling people. Hate doesn’t fix issues.” -
Anonymous (via why-we-dont-need-feminism).
I can't defend all those glamorous females who are
extremely confident and powerful and proud of their choices. But I know I would
not like to try and argue with any of them! Individuality is here to stay and I
believe that means that while matriarchy may always have an influence and be
celebrated in pockets it can never actually take over because, at its worst, it
threatens to destroy individuality itself. Being united on issues where it matters is perhaps
the foundation of any healthy society but not when it comes to individual
choices like one's appearance otherwise those individuals will be crushed by peer
pressure and draconian laws. Unless we lose all our technology
and comforts and return to a hard survivalist mentality in which case, indeed,
it is wise to be codependent as a group founded on feminine wisdom at the
expense of individual expression. Been there done that. We've moved on, basically.
I predict that our
future Golden Age will be spiritually-oriented and therefore include elements
of both matriarchy and patriarchy. I don't see freedom diminishing. I do see
individuality being the cornerstone of collective unity and this definitely
does not appear compatible with matriarchy. And this requires mature awareness
in each individual (including choices of purpose, expression, taste etc)
through education rather than concentrating on the needs of the collective
because that will be naturally taken care of with the restoration of the
feminine principle in the individual. In other words, the outer world will
become a reflection of our balanced inner state, again as individuals who think
for ourselves, have inquiring minds and are free to discuss and disagree.
